The purpose of the nutrition program is to improve the nutritional support provided to vulnerable patients in public hospitals. Proper nutrition during hospitalization plays a crucial role in helping patients recover faster, avoid complications, and return to their communities with the strength they need to reintegrate and thrive.
Our goal is to support a full recovery, improve quality of life, and reduce the risk of relapse after discharge.
We do this through three main approaches:
- Education
–We help vulnerable populations improve their understanding of nutrition and its impact on health. - Support
– We reinforce nutritional assistance for the most at-risk individuals, ensuring they have access to the food and resources they need. - Livelihoods
– We promote sustainable income-generating activities to help households secure long-term access to nutritious food.
