NACHAM AFRICA continues with mental health awareness sessions at the Mutaho District Hospital as part of the Remesha project. Mutaho Hospital located in the commune of Mutaho in the Gitega province in central Burundi, is one of two hospitals in the district.
The program included:
– A presentation on the state of mental health in Burundi,
– Awareness-raising through interactive theatre, focusing on mental health challenges and their potential causes,
– Personal testimonials.
A total of 234 beneficiaries attended this session.
