NACHAM AFRICA, as part of the REMESHA project, hosted a mental health awareness session at the District Health Hospital in Kibimba, Gitega Province. This gathering is a testament to Nacham Africa’s unwavering dedication to fostering positive thinking among hospitalized patients and their families and advocating for the utilization of psychological care services.
We are proud to report that the event was well attended, with 383 beneficiaries participating in the session. The day was filled with enlightening activities designed to promote dialogue, understanding, and empathy towards mental health issues.
By implementing such initiatives, Nacham Africa aims to remove the stigma associated with mental health issues and inspire beneficiaries to embrace psychological care services. We believe that these conversations are a significant step forward in the fight against mental health stigma and can make a profound difference in many lives.
Let’s keep the conversation going. Mental health matters.
