“Previously, some patients would leave the hospital because they had no food, as their families, coming from far away, could not bring them any. Some did not even complete their treatment. Today, thanks to the nutritious meals provided, patients regain their strength and recover much more quickly.”

These are the words of the Director of Kabezi District Hospital, Dr. Sébastien Mube, spoken to illustrate the tangible impact of Nacham Africa’s nutrition program on Friday, September 26th, during the visit that Nacham Africa and its partners from Burundikids schweiz made to the hospital to witness these results.

The visit was also an opportunity to explore new areas of collaboration, including agricultural projects and support for the schooling of vulnerable children after hospitalization.
