Nacham Africa Harvests First Sweet Potato Crop to Nourish Vulnerable Patients

 / July 15,2025

As part of its nutrition program, NACHAM AFRICA collaborates with the Prince Louis Rwagasore Hospital, which has provided space for it to grow its own food.

Today, NACHAM AFRICA proudly harvested its first sweet potato crop of the year. This initiative aims not only to ensure healthier and more varied food for the most vulnerable patients, but also to reduce costs associated with purchasing food.

Lower costs mean that NACHAM AFRICA can allocate more resources directly to benefiting patients: improving the quality and quantity of meals, while continuing other support actions.

This project illustrates Nacham Africa’s commitment to combining solidarity, autonomy, and efficiency to sustainably meet the needs of the most vulnerable.”
