Hope Hospital Kibuye, is a university hospital located on Kibuye Hill, in the Bukirasazi commune of Gitega province. It is situated in the central plateaus, within the natural region of Kirimiro. This hospital was established in 1946 by Free Methodist missionaries from the United States of America.
NACHAM AFRICA conducted a mental health awareness campaign at Hope Hospital Kibuye as part of the Remesha project, which was attended by 431 beneficiaries. The initiative included a presentation on the current state of mental health in Burundi, awareness raised through interactive theatre, and personal testimonials.
