As we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, Nacham Africa continues to host group mental health sessions every Thursday in public hospitals through its focal points. These gatherings provide patients with a safe and supportive space to share the challenges they face during their hospitalization journey, from coping with chronic illness and depression to managing difficulties at home.
Each participant has the chance to express themselves, be heard, and receive encouragement from others facing similar experiences. These sessions not only help break isolation but also foster solidarity, hope, and emotional resilience.
This month, we encourage everyone to prioritize mental well-being and create spaces where people can be supported, heard, and understood.
