Nacham Africa organized a back-to-school event for the children of vulnerable patients in public hospitals. The event took place on Saturday, September 13th, at Prince Regent Hospital.
This initiative is part of Nacham Africa’s mental health program, created to ease the stress of patients who face the financial burden of sending their children to school, a challenge felt even more as the school year officially starts today, September 15th.
The event began with words of encouragement from Mr. Armand Jimbere, Executive Director of Nacham Africa, who reminded students that they are the future of the nation and encouraged them to work hard in their studies. He also extended his gratitude to Prince Regent Hospital for hosting the event and to Savonor for their support.
Dr. François Ntahorwamiye, representing Prince Regent Hospital, expressed his joy in seeing such an important initiative continue for the seventh year, emphasizing its positive impact. His remarks were echoed by Mr. Georges Ortmann from Savonor who also commended the effort.
At the close of the event, 278 students received school supplies, and each expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nacham Africa.
