Today, on Friday January 9th, Senator Imelde Sabushimike, in charge of the Social Affairs Committee at the Burundi Senate, visited Nacham Africa as part of her interest in learning more about our mission and work since the organization’s creation.
We presented the initiatives we have developed, as well as the results of our nutrition and mental health programs. She was impressed by our work and congratulated us on the achievements made so far.

She encouraged us, emphasizing that challenges are part of the humanitarian journey, especially when so many people are in need of support. Imelde expressed her willingness to support our work and shared valuable suggestions on how to expand our activities.

We also exchanged ideas on how to empower the most vulnerable communities, not only through financial support, but by helping them change their mindsets and become more self-reliant.
